I am a private individual who just loves 1/12th scale dolls and dolls houses. I love making dolls for other people who do not have the skills themselves and I welcome commissions from anyone. Click on the image to enlarge This is an early 19th Century trader selling bakery items, mainly bread and pies. He's dressed in simple white shirt and tan coloured pants with baggy stockings and brown leather shoes. He also has a striped apron and baker's cap. Click on the image to enlarge This is an early 19th Century Pedlar woman, selling sewing items - lace, ribbon and fabrics. She has a black and white striped underskirt and black over dress, hitched up at the front. She carries a bag of fabrics on her back and a tray of goodies on the front. Click on the image to enlarge These are two early 19th Century Ladies of the Regency period. They both wear fashionable costumes of the period, one in pale peach with a bonnet, and the other in a simple white cotton gown. Both Ladies have leather shoes and appropriate underwear - pantaloons, stockings and under skirts. Click on the image to enlarge This is Elizabeth I together with a Tudor Gentleman. Elizabeth wears a red underskirt with fir trim, and a sliver brocade overdress. She has a pomander hanging from her waist and her hair is dressed in the style of the day. She has leadened white skin, as was the fashion at that time. The Gentleman is dressed in black and silver silk, again, as was the fashion of the period. Click on the image to enlarge This is an early Georgian Gentleman and Lady. The lady is dressed in a pink sack dress - very popular at the time. She has white stockings and shoes to match the dress. The Gentleman is a rather portly character, wearing a white shirt, long waistcoat and a full- skirted green coat, and black leather shoes with buckles. Click on the images to enlarge This is a Victorian Soldier. He is mid 19th century and wears a uniform similar to the soldiers seen in the film 'Zulu Dawn'. He wears the foreign service helmet as opposed to the English one, since this does not display the insignia on the front, which provided a target for the enemy to shoot at. He wears gold piped regulation trousers and the familiar red coat with navy blue cuffs. Not shown here are the artillery bags, which would normally have been attached to the white bands and belts. Click on the image to enlarge Here we have a wonderful Medieval Court Jester. He is dressed in predominently red and yellow. He has two bells on his hat and is ready to entertain the Nobility. Click on the image to enlarge This Medieval lady has a red underdress with green trim and squared-patterned overdress with sleeve slits. On her head she wears a barbette and crispinette with padded roll. This type of headdress was very popular around 1300-1400. Click on the image to enlarge This is a Georgian Lady in her underwear, suitable for a boudoir. She's dressed predominently in white and is wearing wired panniers, which were all the rage in the Georgian period in order to keep the overdress in position. The panniers are trimmed with pink ribbon and lace, and they are removeable. Click on the image to enlarge This is a lovely lady of the Stuart Period. She wears a dress of greenish-gold silk with a black and gold front panel insert. She has a fitted wired bodice with gold lace trim, and the sleeves are black and gold and green gold slashed. She has lace stockings and gold silk shoes. Click on the image to enlarge This is a beautiful Georgian Lady. She wears white stockings and pantaloons and cream leather shoes. Click on the image to enlarge This is a late Georgian period Lady. She wears white stockings and pantaloons, purple leather shoes with white bow trims. She also wears a pale purple and grey striped silk gown with tiny ribbon trim. The overgown is caught-up at the back in the Polonaise style. Her hair is dressed high, with curls at the sides and back. Her removable hat matches the gown and has pale blue, pink and purple trim and a lovely purple and grey feather. Click on the image to enlarge This is a super Victorian lady. She wears white stockings and pantaloons, cream leather shoes with blue ribbon rose trim. She has a plain white cotton underskirt, then a wired white crinoline skirt. Her gown is pale blue with white lace underneath and is caught up all round with blue and pink roses. Her gown has low-fronted wide-necked bodice with tiny puffed sleeves. She has tiny roses at the front and all the way down one side of her gown, with a large white organza bow at the back. She wears pale blue half gloves trimmed with pale blue fur and fringing top and bottom. She has a pearl necklace and her hair is dressed tight to her head with a small bun at the back. This is a truly magnificent doll. Click on the image to enlarge This is a late Georgian period Lady. Not a particularly wealthy woman, more of the 'ordinary' street type lady. She is wearing white stockings and pantaloons and gold brocade shoes. Gold brocade underskirt with gold lace trim and frill detail. Her gown is made from yellow, blue and pink floral striped cotton with yellow organza frill around the sleeves, and gold trim around the edges. A gold brocade stomacher with pink fringe detail. A very fashionable blue and gold striped tailored stand collar jacket with gold trim, and two side pocket flaps. Click on the image to enlarge This Tudor man has red, knitted stockings, red, wide-fitting, leather shoes. Red and gold trunk hose, white cotton shirt with lace trim, red silk sleeved jerkin over the top. Very wide, sleeveless tunic worn over the jerkin with brown fur trim. Brown hose and rust coloured woven breeches to the knee. He has thick leather brown boots and a thick leather apron, tied with leather thonging. This is a typical blacksmith of the period and his hands are modelled to carry a large hammer, sword, axe or any other item of his trade. He's a jolly character with a rather large nose! Click on the image to enlarge This is a pair of good Dickensian characters. The woman on the left is a rather stout woman, dressed in a faded red dress with apron and mob cap. The woman on the right is dressed in a faded print dress with grubby apron and a bonnet - tied under the chin. She has a very bad skin condition, with warts, moles and pimples. These women are typical characters of the 19th Century. Click on the image to enlarge This is a Medieval woman dressed in calico gown with under garments. She wears a braded tie around her waist and a horned head dress draped with calico cloth. Her gown is very simple, with very little adornment, quite befitting a woman of the time. Click on the image to enlarge My dolls are all One-Of-A-Kind (OOAK) 1/12th scale models, and every one of them is modelled individually. Which means, uniquely, no two dolls will ever be exactly the same. The particular dolls you see here are representations of my work. However, if you require a particular doll, I will always do my best to produce a doll in very similar style to those presented here. None of the costumes, colours schemes or dress patterns are fixed, so you are welcome to 'mix and match' any or all of these to suit your preferences. I will be adding more dolls to my Gallery in the future, so please visit again soon. If you have any comments, questions or requests please contact me with your requirements. |
