The Main Bed Chamber 
The Main Bed Chamber The Main Bed Chamber is decorated in gold ochre with cream panels. The centrepeice is a lavish, half-tester bed with hand-embroidered bed linen and gold decorated blanket chest. The fireplace, with handmade chimneypeice above, is fitted with a Georgian firegrate. The ceiling panel is pain-stakingly hand painted in gold and edged with white plaster in a shell design. The coving is in a leaf design. The room also contains a hand-painted folding screen. There are also two incredibly tiny hand embroidered bed caps. |
